Spring is here... time to be outside!

I love having so many beautiful canyons within minutes of my house to escape to on a beautiful evening!  Zach even took the camera for a minute!

Newest Nephew!

I am so lucky I had the opportunity to go to LA to see my newest nephew!  He is such an angel!  I was glad they trusted me with these pictures since I have NEVER done a newborn shoot before, and I still have  so much to learn!  He slept like crazy... until we set him down to take pictures!  I didn't mind one bit though since he was so sweet with his eyes open!  I miss him already!

Almost 8

This handsome little man is almost 8 years old and getting ready for his baptism!  Don't his big brown eyes just lure you in?

Los Angeles

I had a great trip visiting my beautiful/handsome nieces and nephews in LA!  I had a lot of fun just hanging out and taking pictures!  The weather wasn't very cooperative, but I love how these turned out!

I am obsessed with B&W.  I am preparing for my trip to see my new nephew in L.A. and I am nervous that I won't get the pics I want.  I purchased a very fancy, and expensive, luxurious, on the clearance rack at Walmart black backdrop/curtain.  I LOVE IT!

I only had to bribe my kids with watching a movie if they would pose for me, but that little bribe of mine allowed me time to edit too!!  Yes!

Simple Moments

My days as a mother are filled with endless simple, beautiful moments that most would pass off as ordinary.  Photography has opened my eyes to the importance of these instances - when the light is perfect, all is peaceful, and all I see is the beauty in my children!  Have I mentioned before how much I love being a Mom?  My brother is about to become a Dad.... I can't wait for him to have a moment like this!
