Can't Help It!

I took this picture last year, before I knew anything about editing!  I found the original on my laptop and re-edited it and I love how it looks.  I just happened to be photographing my little man and I could see this coming so I watched and waited.... I know... I could have stopped him.  But it was SOOOO funny!  Luckily he was shocked, then laughed himself!  I can't look at it without smiling!

Valentines Love

I decided to go all out and do a somewhat stylized shoot for V-Day!!  No studio, just a wall in my house with some wrapping paper taped on - saweet!!  I got my own kids as well as a bunch of neighborhood kids in on it... and one neighbor Dad (don't worry, I will post it soon).  I was going for super-cheesy-over-the-top-lovey... but these first ones I edited turned out way cuter than anticipated!  

Mom wanted a pic to announce #3!  So darling!  Congrats Larsens!

First Entry EVER

Lately I have been obsessed with photography blogs/websites and awhile ago I came across a forum for photographers in need of guidance... i.e. ME!   It is called Chic Critique and I have learned tons by reading it!  When I saw they were having a contest to find the cover for their new magazine with the theme of "Launch", I just knew I wanted to enter the picture of my daughter from our recent trip to Mexico.  Wish me luck!
